  • 800g Tin powder
  • 200ml tetra carton
  • 90ml ready-to feed bottle
A ready-to-feed version will be given to your baby in hospital, but for home you can either use the 200ml ready-to-feed format, just pour them straight into your little one’s sterilised bottle or you can make up Cow & Gate nutriprem 2 from powder.
  1. special-step1Wash hands and sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers’ instructions
  2. special-step2Boil 1 litre of freshly run water. Leave kettle to cool for 30 minutes and no longer. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
  3. special-step3Measure the required amount of water (refer to feeding guide) into a sterilised bottle. Do not add powder to boiling water due to risk of scalding.
  4. special-step4Use the scoop provided and level off the powder with the built in leveller. Do not press/heap the powder.
  5. special-step5Add one scoop to every 30ml (1 fl oz.) of boiled cooled water. Adding too many or too few scoops can be harmful.
  6. special-step6Cap the bottle and shake well (for 10 seconds) to dissolve the powder. Remove cap and replace with a sterilised teat.
  7. special-step7Cool under running tap. Check temperature of feed. Feed immediately. Make up each feed as required. For hygiene reasons, do not store made up feeds and always discard unfinished feeds within 1 hour.
